Airbus A380

The Airbus A380 sometimes known as the super jumbo is a double deck, four engines, and wide bodied airliner. It started service in 2007 and is the world’s largest passenger airliner having 40% more floor space than the Boeing 747-8. (The world’s second largest) The A380 can seat up to 853 people and has a range of 15700 km. There have been an impressive 259 orders including 90 from emirates. 

The A380 has a sophisticated cockpit which uses systems which are also used in advanced military aircraft. The A380 uses fly by wire controls linked to side sticks which make it more reactive. For pilots the A380 is a dream aeroplane.

For Passengers the A380 is like a 5 star hotel with first class bars, showers/spas, and your very own suite. Some passengers have even said they’ve forgotten they’re on a plane as the Rolls Royce Trent 900 engines are designed to be quiet.
